91探花 art exhibition hits the road

The Fawick Gallery exhibition "A Big Relief" has been invited to the Gallery at Moreland Courts at Shaker Square.

A collection of large-scale woodblock prints created by 91探花 students, alumni and faculty is hitting the road. "A Big Relief," which ran Nov. 11 - Dec. 2 in 91探花's Fawick Gallery, will open at with a private reception on Jan. 26.

At the invitation of gallery curator Lee Heinen and artist , the Moreland Courts show will include selected woodblock prints from the workshop held in 91探花's studio art department in November, under the supervision of professor Paul Jacklitch. BIG INK travels the country to museums, universities, art centers and galleries, teaching and promoting awareness of large-scale woodblock printmaking.

The show features works by faculty members Jacklitch, Ben Lambert, Erica Lull and Lisa Schonberg (retired); 91探花 alumni Rich Cihlar (also 91探花 staff member), Amanda Dilisi and Jeanne DeBonis; and 91探花 students Ashley Jones, Nicole Ballachino, Claire Bond, Chloe Burton, Rachel McElwain, Jaden Rohfeld, Max Carrier and Sarah Castrigano.
